We offer a variety of courses and workshops tailored to meet your unique needs and skill levels.
Group Language Courses: Learn and Grow Together
Join our interactive group courses and learn alongside colleagues from across Canada. These courses focus on acquiring essential language skills specific to the Community Futures and CBDCs sector through engaging activities and realistic scenarios.
Course Details:
- Small Groups for Personalized Learning: Benefit from a supportive and interactive learning environment with a limited number of participants.
- Sessions: Each course includes 24 sessions lasting 1.5 hours each, held twice a week for 12 weeks. That's a total of 36 hours of instruction.
- Three Sessions per Year: We offer courses in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.
- Levels Offered: We cater to various proficiency levels (see below for details of levels offered).
One-on-One Language Courses: Personalized Learning for Rapid Progress
Our one-on-one language courses provide tailor-made support based on your individual French language level, specific needs, and learning objectives. This intensive approach allows you to make rapid progress.
Course Details:
- Individual Sessions: Enjoy focused learning with 1.5-hour sessions held weekly.
- Flexible Session Length: Choose a program duration that suits your goals: 12, 24, or 36 sessions.
- Personalized Learning: We focus on the areas where you need the most improvement, allowing you to learn at a pace that is comfortable and effective for you.
Language Coaching: Enhance Your Professional French
Our one-on-one language coaching is specifically designed for intermediate to advanced employees who require personalized support or to employees having taken one-on-one courses to further develop their French skills in a professional context.
Coaching Content:
- Writing Documents and E-mails: Improve your ability to write professional correspondence in French.
- Simulating Meetings and Networking Situations: Practice conducting meetings with French-speaking clients in a realistic setting.
- Delivering Presentations: Learn the skills to create and deliver impactful presentations in French.
- Flexible Schedules: Coaching sessions are adapted to your availability, ensuring they fit into your busy work schedule. "À la carte”, where you can purchase the number of sessions you want.
- The coaching service is for academic purposes and does not replace other professional services such as translators, communication or marketing consultants, presentation experts, etc.
Thematic Workshops: Master Essential Vocabulary and Grammar
Designed for intermediate/advanced levels, our group thematic workshops will help you master the vocabulary and grammatical concepts that are most essential when working in the Community Futures and CBDCs network.

Levels Offered
We cater to various proficiency levels, aligned with the NCLC (Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens) and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards.
- A1 (NCLC 1-2): Basic user. Learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases to satisfy concrete needs.
- A2 (NCLC 3): Basic user. Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to common topics such as personal and family information, shopping, local geography, and employment.
- A2 (NCLC 4): Basic user. Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar topics and activities.
- B1 (NCLC 5-6): Independent user. Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered at work, or during leisure activities. You'll be able to deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling or working in a French-speaking area.
