Atlantic CBDCs Donate $5000.00 to Janeway Children’s Foundation
St. John’s, November 28th, 2006 – The CBDCs of Atlantic Canada donated $5,000 in support of the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.
This contribution was collected throughout the year by employees participating in a weekly “Jeans Day for the Janeway Campaign” where employees would pay $1 to wear jeans on Friday of each week. In addition the CBDCs sold raffle tickets on a trip for two anywhere in Canada.
The Janeway Children’s Foundation will earmark this generous donation towards the capital equipment program. More precisely, these funds will be directed towards the purchase of an Ophthalmic Position Chair for the Ambulatory Care Division.
